Air Traffic Association founded in The Hague in 1919 - the year of the world's first international scheduled services.
IATA Headquarters is based in Montreal (Canada), and Executive Office in Geneva (Switzerland).
Today, IATA has 243 members/airlines from 130 countries and over 60.000 travel agents operating in over 200 countries in every part of the globe.
To get IATA Accreditation, all the members must match very strict criteria and have the highest qualifications and standards of operating.
