Bosnia and Herzegovina mountains occupy the largest area (32%) of the country.
Because of its specific climate, clean air and well kept nature, these mountains are ideal places not
only for winter sports, but also for resting at every season of the year. All mountains are abundant in big
expanses of fir trees, pines and deciduous trees, as well as forest fruits such as wild strawberies, blueberies,
mushrooms, herbs and rare endemic vegetable species.

JAHORINA

... is one of the Olympic Mountains where the best skiers of the world competed during the XIV Olympic
Winter Games held in 1984. Jahorina is situated in central B&H some 28 km from Sarajevo, connected by a modern asphalt road.
20 km long ski path is very good connected by seven modern cable railways and six ski-lifts with total capacity over 7.500 per hour.
Skiing schools and ski services are placed on disposal of the visitors.
